Volleyball Game Preview: Swett Warriors vs. Hercules Titans

Swett is 0-4 against Hercules since March of 2023 but things could change on Monday. Swett is taking a road trip to take on Hercules at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Swett's tournament run continued when they took on KIPP King on Saturday. Swett took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of KIPP King.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Hercules' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 3-1 to Albany. While the Titans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 25-16 in the first set.

Hercules started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-21, 28-26, 25-23.

Hercules' defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Swett, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Swett came up short against Hercules in their previous matchup on Monday, falling 3-1. Can Swett avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
