St. Brendan came out on top against Gulliver Prep on Monday thanks in part to Jules Miranda's efforts. Nobody could stop Miranda as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Miranda and St. Brendan will face off against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Miranda had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in March 7-3. Could another big game from her be enough to change the outcome this time?
