Preview: Mundy's Mill Tigers vs. Rockdale County Bulldogs
Two dominant guards in Dajuan Riddle and Jayden Dickens are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Mundy's Mill Tigers will be playing at home against the Rockdale County Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mundy's Mill will be strutting in after a win while the Bulldogs will be coming in after a defeat.
Even though Lovejoy scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, Mundy's Mill still came out on top. Mundy's Mill secured a 65-60 W over the Wildcats. The win was just what Mundy's Mill needed coming off of a 93-41 defeat in their prior match.
It was another big night for Riddle, who scored 26 points. Another player making a difference was Fred Umeano, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Rockdale County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 65-52 to Morrow.
Mundy's Mill's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Rockdale County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.
Mundy's Mill came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs when the teams last played back in December of 2023, sneaking past 71-69. Will Mundy's Mill repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
