After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mesa, Skyline was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed by the North Canyon Rattlers at home to the tune of 56-12. The Coyotes' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Jake Ryne Goins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 85 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 254 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt. Zavier Flores was another key player, picking up 174 receiving yards.
Skyline's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Noah Sasser and Shawn Saxon.
