Volleyball Game Preview: Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes vs. Cobden Appleknockers + How To Watch

The Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes will square off against the Cobden Appleknockers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Zeigler-Royalton was able to grind out a solid victory over Joppa-Maple Grove, taking the game 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Rangers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Cobden beat Egyptian 2-0 on Friday.

Cobden easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21.

Zeigler-Royalton's victory bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Cobden, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Zeigler-Royalton was able to grind out a solid win over Cobden in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Tornadoes repeat their success, or do the Appleknockers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
