Baseball Recap: Benjamin Logan Raiders vs. Shawnee Braves

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Benjamin Logan ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Shawnee Braves. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Bryden Morris made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed eight innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off 12 hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Benjamin Logan is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 5-6 otherwise.
