Softball Recap: Sentinel Spartans vs. Flathead Braves/Bravettes

Sentinel can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Flathead Braves/Bravettes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sentinel also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Sentinel let Makenna Thorson and Brooklyn Wright loose on the outfield. Thorson went 1-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Wright scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-5. Kennedy Dypwick was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.

On Flathead's side, Olivia Nyman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with a home run and four RBI.
