Basketball Recap: Union Gets the Win

Union extended their postseason success on Monday against Neshannock. They managed a 60-56 victory over the Neshannock Lancers. The win continues a trend for the Knights/Damsels in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won three in a row.

Union now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Neshannock, their loss dropped their record down to 21-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Union will take on Jeannette on Friday. Jeannette knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Union likes a good challenge. As for Neshannock, they are taking a road trip to challenge Sewickley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sewickley Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Neshannock surely won't give up without a fight.
