Basketball Recap: Maplewood Comes Up Short

Maplewood lost against Saegertown back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Maplewood Tigers were beaten by the Saegertown Panthers 65-33. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Maplewood has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Saegertown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

Maplewood has already played their next match, a 50-28 loss against Saegertown on the 14th. As for Saegertown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 90-66 win against Erie First Christian Academy on the 14th.
