Recap: Timberline Wolves vs. Capital Golden Eagles

The Timberline Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 47-23 margin over Capital. Winning may never get old, but Timberline sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Timberline found their leader in underclassman Emmi Swillie, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Swillie's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Mertes, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Timberline is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Capital, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-10.

Timberline will take on Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Capital, they will head out on the road to face off against Boise at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Boise knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Capital likes a good challenge.
