Softball Recap: Red Lion Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northeastern last Wednesday, Red Lion came back down to earth. The Lions took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central York Panthers on Wednesday. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Red Lion has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Central York, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Coincidentally, Red Lion and Central York will both be playing New Oxford the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Colonials at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will host them at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
