Tishomingo County is 8-2 against Belmont since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Tishomingo County Braves will face off against the Belmont Cardinals at 1:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, Tishomingo County didn't have quite enough to beat Jackson Academy and fell 8-7.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Belmont was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 10-2 to Pisgah.

Belmont saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Collier Clark, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Tishomingo County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. Belmont's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-5.

Tishomingo County was able to grind out a solid victory over Belmont in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tishomingo County since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
