Thursday just wasn't the day for Carolina Academy's offense. They came up short against the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles on Thursday, falling 9-0. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Carolina Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Pee Dee Academy, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carolina Academy will head out to challenge Williamsburg Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Stallions have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Pee Dee Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Dillon Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
