Roswell extended their postseason success on Friday against Sequoyah. They came out on top against the Chiefs by a score of 42-35. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Trey Smith produced another solid effort rushing for 161 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also throwing for 230 yards and three TDs on only ten passes. Roswell's leading receiver Wills Campbell was Smith's top target yet again, picking up 230 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Roswell's record is now 12-1. As for Sequoyah, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-2.

Coming up, Roswell will square off against Thomas County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Yellow Jackets have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Sequoyah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
