Pieper waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Alamo Heights Mules. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pieper was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-13.

Pieper's victory bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Alamo Heights, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pieper will face off against rival Boerne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alamo Heights is set to square off against their familiar foe New Braunfels at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
