Baseball Recap: Hiwassee Dam Comes Up Short

Hiwassee Dam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Tellico Plains Bears, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-4 on March 3rd.

Hiwassee Dam's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Tellico Plains, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Hiwassee Dam will be playing at home against Hayesville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hayesville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hiwassee Dam surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tellico Plains, they will challenge Greenback at 6:00 p.m. on March 27th.
