Soccer Game Preview: Holt vs. Pacific

Holt will face off against Pacific at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Holt's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 11 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Holt lost 5-1 to Timberland on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Holt can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Timberland are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, Pacific kept a clean sheet against Lutheran on Wednesday. They blew past the Cougars 6-0. Pacific might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by four goals or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Pacific and bumps their season record up to 12-3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two contests. As for Holt, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
