Volleyball Game Preview: Gardena Panthers vs. King/Drew Golden Eagles

Gardena is on a four-game streak of home losses, and King/Drew a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Gardena Panthers will welcome the King/Drew Golden Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Gardena came up short against Narbonne on Monday, falling 3-0.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25, 26-24.

Meanwhile, King/Drew lost 3-0 to Fremont on Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-15.

King/Drew's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Gardena, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
