Softball Recap: Ingraham Takes a Loss

Ingraham and Holy Names Academy pushed the score to 20-1 the last time they played Holy Names Academy, but on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Rams fell just short of Holy Names Academy by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with Holy Names Academy: they've now lost eight in a row.

Ingraham's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Holy Names Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ingraham will challenge Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Holy Names Academy, they will face off against Eastside Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
