Baseball Recap: Kansas City East Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Kansas City East Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Heritage Christian Academy Chargers. Even if the Lions couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

The team also got some help courtesy of Braeden Jenkins, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
