Recap: Alexander Central vs. North Iredell
Alexander Central was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past North Iredell 54-3. That result is just more of the same for Alexander Central, who also won the last time these teams played.
Alexander Central's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 40 points in the first half. Meanwhile, North Iredell couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 40-0 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Alexander Central in the second half and held North Iredell to 3 points. The win bumped Alexander Central's record up to 3-0. The loss dropped North Iredell's record to 2-1.
Alexander Central are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against North Lincoln next week at 7:30 PM. As for North Iredell, they will face off against Lake Norman.
