Volleyball Recap: Covington Comes Up Short

Covington lost against University Lab back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cubs.

Covington has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for University Lab, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Covington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Assumption on the 19th. As for University Lab, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Episcopal on the 20th.
