Softball Recap: Model Secondary School for the Deaf Comes Up Short

Model Secondary School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 14-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Deaf Hoosiers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-5 on Friday.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 27-5 win against McLean on the 29th. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they have also already played their next match, a 13-3 defeat against California School for the Deaf on the 26th.
