Football Recap: Franklin Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Gouverneur + How To Watch

Franklin Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Gouverneur Wildcats 49-14 on Friday. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Looking ahead, Franklin Academy will take on Ogdensburg Free Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gouverneur will be paying especially close attention to the Huskies' game: after the Huskies face off against the Blue Devils, they'll take on Gouverneur again on Saturday.
