Meadow Bridge had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell victim to a rough 12-0 defeat at the hands of the Midland Trail Patriots on Monday.
For Midland Trail's part, Will Mcgraw was a standout: he scored a run while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Stephens, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
The win got Midland Trail back to even at 1-1.
Meadow Bridge will head out on the road to take on Summers County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Midland Trail, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
