Volleyball Recap: Wayland Falls Short Against Ranked Brookline

Wayland faced Brookline in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Wayland lost 3-0 to Brookline. Wayland just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.

Wayland was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Wayland's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Brookline, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1.

As of now, neither Wayland nor Brookline have any future games scheduled.
