Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings

By Stephen Spiewak Nov 21, 2011, 1:02am

Armwood falls, North Allegheny enters in this week's poll.

Don Bosco Prep remained No. 1 in the country, but there was plenty of movement near the top of the rankings.

Following a letdown performance by No. 2 Armwood, which needed late-game heroics from Alvin Bailey to survive Lakewood Ranch, Trinity of Louisville moves to No. 2.

With Katy struggling to put away Cy Woods, Gaffney, which has been consistently dominant, jumps to No. 3.

Following its victory over Allen, Trinity of Euless enters the Top 10 at No. 8. See MaxPreps football playoff brackets.
