Basketball Recap: McKinney Comes Up Short

McKinney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 76-47 loss at the hands of the Prosper Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-26 back in December of 2024.

McKinney's loss dropped their record down to 2-24. As for Prosper, they pushed their record up to 22-7 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.

McKinney will venture away from home to face off against McKinney Boyd at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McKinney is facing McKinney Boyd at the right time seeing as McKinney Boyd is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Prosper, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Allen at 5:30 p.m. One thing working in Prosper's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 14 matchups.
