Softball Recap: Marshall County Marshals vs. Calloway County Lakers
In what's become a running theme this season, Marshall County gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They never let the Calloway County Lakers onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Marshall County sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
The result came thanks to Allicen Harris's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks.
On the hitting side, Macy McLeod was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Marin Oakley, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Marshall County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Calloway County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
