Softball Recap: Queen City Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Queen City's offense. They lost 21-0 to the De Kalb Bears on Tuesday. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Queen City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for De Kalb, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

Queen City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for De Kalb, they will take on Hooks at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Bears have won ten straight at home, while the Hornets won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
