Overtime victory on ESPN keeps Bulldogs on top; Cathedral knocks off Carmel.

There was plenty of movement in the Indiana high school football rankings after the second weekend of play, but not at the very top. Brownsburg overcame a 17-3 halftime deficit to pull out a 30-24 overtime win over Ohio power St. Xavier (Cincinnati) on Saturday to keep the No. 1 spot in the Hoosier State. The contest was broadcast nationally by ESPN.

Behind a huge game from senior quarterback Nathan McCahill, Cathedral (Indianpolis) moved up four spots to No. 2 following a hard-earned 44-28 win over then-No. 4 Carmel, which dropped to No. 7 but can move right back up with a win Friday at No. 4 Center Grove (Greenwood).

Three teams moved into Top 25 after wins this week: No. 15 Pike (Indianapolis), No. 21 Carroll (Fort Wayne) and No. 25 Pioneer (Royal Center).
