Brainerd blew Grand Rapids out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Grand Rapids got their revenge. The Warriors fell just short of the Thunderhawks by a score of 4-2. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Brainerd saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Castle, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Brainerd's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Grand Rapids, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
