Basketball Recap: Spooner Takes a Loss

Spooner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt an 82-42 loss at the hands of the Amery Warriors. The matchup marked the Rails' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Spooner now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Amery, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Spooner will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Luck at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Amery, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ashland at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
