Saint James won the last time they faced Pike Road and things went their way on Monday too. The Trojans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Patriots.

Saint James has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.67 runs across that stretch. As for Pike Road, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-5.

Coming up, Saint James will head out to challenge Alabama Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pike Road, they will be playing at home against Park Crossing at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Thunderbirds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.74 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
