Baseball Recap: Lake County Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Lake County was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against the Jackson Christian Eagles, falling 12-2. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19-1. As for Jackson Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Lake County will take on Gibson County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Jackson Christian, they will face off against Westview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
