White County came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-6 to the Camden Central Lions. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kylie Norvell was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Maddie Rust, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

White County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Camden Central, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, White County will take on Floyd Central in a tournament on Saturday. As for Camden Central, they will take on Cascade at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
