Basketball Recap: Key West Takes a Loss

If Key West was feeling good fresh off their 57-36 takedown of Coral Shores last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Key West Conchs took a 56-39 bruising from the South Dade Buccaneers on Tuesday. The Conchs were down 47-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Key West's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for South Dade, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Key West will face off against Westminster Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Dade, they will square off against Booker T. Washington at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st.
