Basketball Recap: Crenshaw Comes Up Short

Crenshaw and Franklin squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Crenshaw had to settle for second. They fell to the Franklin Panthers 68-64. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crenshaw's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Franklin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-13.

Crenshaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Franklin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
