Baseball Recap: Silver Creek's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Silver Creek fell victim to Cattaraugus-Little Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Timberwolves by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Black Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Silver Creek fell to 2-1. As for Cattaraugus-Little Valley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silver Creek will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Olean at 5:00 p.m. on May 9. As for Cattaraugus-Little Valley, they will square off against Franklinville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
