Basketball Game Preview: Platte/Geddes Black Panthers vs. Andes Central/Dakota Christian

The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers will take on Andes Central/Dakota Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Platte/Geddes can't be to happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 54-12 loss at the hands of Freeman.

Platte/Geddes' loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

As for Andes Central/Dakota Christian, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the right side of .500 (13-10), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.

Things could have been worse for Platte/Geddes, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 44-29 loss to Andes Central/Dakota Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Platte/Geddes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
