Basketball Recap: Burley's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mountain Home, Burley was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-47 win over the Jerome Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-60 back in January.

Burley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jake Seely led the charge by putting up nine points. Nash Gillette was another key player, scoring ten points.

Burley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.
