Basketball Recap: Kongiganak Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Kwigillingok on Saturday, Kongiganak came back down to earth. The Kongiganak Wolverines fell 56-47 to the Chief Paul Memorial Falcons on Saturday. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-59 on Friday.

Despite the loss, Kongiganak still got an impressive performance from Greyson Otto, who posted 15 points. The dominant performance gave Otto a new career-high in points. Kenneth Charlie was another key player, putting up eight points.

Kongiganak's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Chief Paul Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Kongiganak nor Chief Paul Memorial have any future games scheduled.
