Island Trees gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. Everything went their way against the East Rockaway Rocks as they made off with a 41-15 win. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 34-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rocks cut but never quite recovered from.
Among those leading the charge was Sean Navarrete, who rushed for 33 yards and one score, and also threw for 48 yards and one touchdown.
