Oakesdale is 8-2 against Pomeroy since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Oakesdale Nighthawks will host the Pomeroy Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Oakesdale knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Pomeroy likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Oakesdale humbled DeSales with a 66-26 victory. The Nighthawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Pomeroy came up short against Colton on Tuesday and fell 38-28. The Pirates have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Oakesdale's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.4 points per game. As for Pomeroy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Oakesdale was able to grind out a solid win over Pomeroy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 31-20. Does Oakesdale have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pomeroy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
