Basketball Recap: Owensboro Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Owensboro Red Devils came up short against the Lyon County Lyons and fell 90-80. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Owensboro's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Lyon County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Owensboro will venture away from home to take on Ohio County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lyon County, they will host Dawson Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dawson Springs will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Lyon County surely won't give up without a fight.
