Basketball Recap: Junction Takes a Loss

Junction was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 48-24 to the Johnson City Eagles. While losing is never fun, Junction can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1424th, while Johnson City is ranked 402nd).

Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Johnson City, their victory bumped their record up to 18-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Junction will welcome Center Point at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Johnson City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harper at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Harper's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Johnson City's offense will have their work cut out for them.
