Softball Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Cedar Creek on Tuesday, Anderson came back down to earth. The Trojans came up short against the McCallum Knights on Thursday, falling 15-0. Considering the last time the Trojans couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Anderson now has a losing record of 11-12. As for McCallum, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Anderson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-4 victory against Richards School for Young Women Leaders on the 7th. As for McCallum, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-1 win against Cedar Creek on the 7th.
