Soccer Recap: Gray Stone Day vs. Union Academy
After flying high against Mount Pleasant last Wednesday, Gray Stone Day came back down to earth. The Gray Stone Day Knights came up short against the Union Academy Cardinals on Wednesday, falling 6-2. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
Gray Stone Day now has a losing record at 2-3-4. As for Union Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-4-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gray Stone Day will host Albemarle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Union Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Central Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
