Volleyball Game Preview: Milpitas Trojans vs. Mountain View Spartans

Milpitas is 0-6 against Mountain View since September of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Milpitas came up short against Palo Alto and fell 3-1. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 25-19 in the first set.

Milpitas started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 26-24, 25-21, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Mountain View also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Monta Vista by a score of 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-27, 25-20, 25-16.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Milpitas, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Milpitas might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Mountain View in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
