Freedom put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Parkland Trojans. For the Patriots, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Freedom took Parkland into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-23, 22-25, 15-13.

Freedom's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bailey Fleckenstein led the charge by getting 38 digs and one assist. Those 38 digs gave Fleckenstein a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ayden Willman, who had 15 digs, 13 blocks, and ten kills.

Freedom's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Parkland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Freedom will host Delaware Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkland, they will square off against Emmaus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
